"Killer Furniture" - (SJ21.21)

In 2021 I participated SculptJanuary to force myself to practice sculpting thoroughly.
I was lucky that nothing got in my way that month, so I was able to sculpt all 31 topics. Most in January, the last in early February...

"Killer Furniture" was the topic of SculptJanuary 2021 Day 21.
"Killer Furniture" is known from a kind of nasty horror movies, very unhealthy
  for the residents of the house, but very exciting for the moviegoers!...

I tried to give that horror genre a funny twist here...
 I first modeled the general shape of the armchair...

...and then compressed it into the shape I needed...

I pushed the dog from Day 7 between the arms of the armchair, as if it was being strangled...
 ...that leg sticking out to the left definitely had to be removed :-)

Then I modeled the environment...a floor with tile motif and two walls with wallpaper...very cheap look...

I turned my attention to the leather of the armchair... The real sculpting began!...

I wanted more details...a deep groove...

...and deep furrowed forehead wrinkles (in the armchair) :-)

The shiny metal rivets made it more mundane...and the dog pee made the mood more shabby...

To fill that empty space to the right of the armchair I would make a dog food bowl, with a bone and food scraps...
